Born and raised in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Mark Bain recognized the increasing demand for renewable and sustainable energy solutions to address rising energy costs. With a vision to excel beyond industry standards of professionalism and integrity, he founded Caribbean Renewable Energy, a company focused on delivering top-tier renewable energy solutions.

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Southern Tech State University and studied Computer Science at Andrew College. Additionally, he has earned several key certifications, including a Solar Professionals Certificate, Solar Business and Technical Sales, certifications in Residential and Commercial Photovoltaic Systems, Advanced PV System Design and NEC, and Advanced PV Multimode and Microgrid Design (Battery-Based).

His early career involved working on large-scale commercial construction and utility-grade projects exceeding 400 megawatts across the United States, covering ground mount, single-axis trackers, and Micro Grids. During this time, he honed expertise in project and site development, budget preparation, contract negotiation, and construction cost control.

Through these experiences, Mark developed a comprehensive skill set, particularly in renewable energy and waste-to-energy projects. His leadership extends across the full project lifecycle, from resolving pre-construction concerns and developing budgets to managing subcontractors and government entities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Mark’s passion for renewable energy drives him to offer clients innovative and efficient solutions, ensuring that each project not only meets but exceeds expectations. His ability to lead with integrity and a commitment to excellence sets him apart as a trusted partner in advancing sustainable energy projects.


SCOTT PINDER

SENIOR CONSTRUCTION Managing

Mr. Pinder is a highly experienced Civil Engineer and Project Manager with over 30 years of expertise spanning operations, project management, and construction across The Bahamas, Turks and Caicos Islands, and the United States. Born and raised in The Bahamas, Mr. Pinder spent nearly two decades working in the U.S., specializing in water, wastewater, and land development projects. He has contributed to a wide range of sectors, including residential and commercial construction, water treatment, and renewable energy solutions vital to island development.

Mr. Pinder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Morgan State University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He has completed the prestigious Dale Carnegie Leadership for Managers program and holds various certifications in project management and safety. Currently, he provides project management consulting services in Nassau, Bahamas, and is actively involved in community service, including his roles in Rotary Bahamas and as an executive board member of the HLB Foundation, a charity focused on community development and education.

His proficiency in various industry-standard software tools, coupled with his leadership and technical expertise, makes him an invaluable asset to any project team.
